What else can my “friends” do for me?
We also, for a small fee, take you to your appointments; for example, if you need to go to the hairdresser or maybe you have an appointment at the doctor’s or dentist or a hearing test or maybe a bit of gardening.
You may also need help in putting your washing into the washing machine and then putting it on the washing line, or you may even want us to visit the laundrette. Or maybe a little cleaning around the house. We will also go to the market or supermarket for you.
Leave all your appointments with us, and we will take care of it.
Whatever you need, we will do for you.

We are your ‘friends around the corner.’ We visit for a chat and a cup of tea. We talk about your past experiences, as we are very interested in you. Yes, you! You have lived a life worth sharing with our younger generation, as things were different in your day. You have so many interesting tales, and sharing is beneficial to both you and your friend.
Friends Around The Corner is a service for those who are housebound, who want a bit of company now and again, or who need help around the home.
